Family Law

In our practice, Family Law includes matters such as adoption, marriage contracts, divorce settlement agreements, and partnership agreements, as well as modern legal issues—for example arrangements in patchwork families, joint investments, or international family relationships.

We combine experience with creativity to structure agreements in a legally secure manner and to address the individual needs of each family or partnership.

Partnership Agreement

A partnership agreement enables a couple to clearly and mutually regulate their shared life, assets, and joint investments—such as real estate—both for the duration of the relationship and in the event of separation.

Particularly if you wish to ensure legal protection, such an agreement provides valuable certainty and clarity.

Typical contents of a partnership agreement may include:

  • Allocation of living expenses

  • Agreements regarding participation in a partner’s business

  • Maintenance arrangements

  • Residential and usage rights

  • Granting of powers of attorney

An important additional element may be the preparation of a preventive power of attorney, which we would be pleased to discuss with you separately.

Marriage Contract

If spouses wish to deviate from the statutory matrimonial property regime or the statutory consequences of divorce, a marriage contract offers the possibility of making clear and individualized arrangements.

Since it may later be difficult to determine which assets were acquired or accumulated during the marriage, a marriage contract can help prevent future conflicts. It documents the status quo at the time of conclusion and establishes clear legal circumstances.

Important to know:

  • Agreements concerning marital savings or the marital home require a notarial deed.

  • Other arrangements concerning marital property must be recorded in writing.

  • A marriage contract may be concluded either before or after the marriage.

Adoption Agreement

An adoption is established through a written agreement between the adoptive parents and the adopted child, which must subsequently be approved by the court.

Careful drafting of this agreement is essential to ensure a smooth legal process.

We are pleased to prepare all the aforementioned agreements following a detailed personal consultation, during which we carefully assess your individual wishes and needs and implement them in a legally sound manner.
